Couples Massage Class
An intimate couples massage experience (offered in-person or through our e-course) designed to help you become confident with the art of touch, relaxation, and meaningful connection.
Perfect for date night, anniversaries, engagements, or simply deepening your bond as partners.
Includes hands-on teaching, guided practice, and supplemental learning materials—covering strokes, pacing, and creating a relaxing at-home environment you can return to again and again.
Chair & Table Massage
Elevated onsite chair/table massage that enhances wellness, supports nervous system reset, and shows your guests or team they are truly valued.
Ideal for corporate, event/conference, and group settings, with an efficient tech-enabled check-in process and an onsite coordinator for larger groups—giving our clients peace of mind to simply host, while we manage the wellness experience and guest interactions from start to finish.
We offer a range of mind-body event services from massage to sound baths, supported by our network of licensed and insured healers.

CARLTON UKO, BS, LMT / CMT
Carlton is the founder and owner of The Well, a family-owned wellness practice specializing in mobile massage therapy, bodywork, and corporate wellness services. His journey began at Howard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, the study of human movement.
From there, he became a licensed and nationally certified Massage Therapist serving everyday clients, professional athletes, celebrities, and organizations across San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, the Bay area, and the Washington, DC area.
With nearly 20 years of combined experience in personal training, physical therapy, and massage therapy, Carlton is known for delivering thoughtful, results-driven care. He has worked with pediatric, adolescent, athletic, and geriatric clients in both hospital and outpatient settings, collaborating alongside orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and physical therapists. Carlton has also studied Reflexology and Thai Massage, broadening his therapeutic foundation. His expertise spans muscle re-education, pre- and post-surgical recovery, injury prevention, and long-term mobility — bringing hands-on skill and the clinical discernment to treat or refer appropriately.
In 2018, he opened The Well as a brick-and-mortar clinic in Pasadena, CA. As demand for private, in-home massage and onsite events grew, Carlton intentionally transitioned to a fully mobile model — bringing personalized therapeutic care directly to clients and expanding his reach beyond the treatment room.
The Well offers appointment-only mobile massage and bodywork, couples and group massage classes, private and corporate event massage, workplace wellness programs, and curated retreats through a trusted network of qualified health practitioners and fitness / wellness professionals. That same spirit of accessibility led Carlton to the create Duets Couples Massage, a self-paced e-course designed to help couples learn how to massage each other with intentional connection and communication.
Today, he continues to help individuals and organizations prioritize recovery, performance, and sustainable wellness.
All of our services are mobile and by appointment only. The following services will be provided at the client's home/preferred location or a rented space (at client's cost): individual and couples massages, chair massage, couples massage classes, group classes, private events, corporate wellness programs, and wellness retreats. For public, ticketed events, The Well secures and provides the venue.

We serve Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Monrovia, Arcadia, San Marino, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Rosemead, Monterey Park, La Canada-Flintridge, Covina, Duarte, Baldwin Park, Sierra Madre, Burbank, Hollywood, Glendale, Sherman Oaks, and more. We're also available for travel and can be on location throughout and California, including but not limited to Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, Ventura County, San Diego County and Orange County.
