CARLTON UKO, BS, LMT / CMT
Carlton is the founder and owner of The Well. His journey as a wellness practitioner began at Howard University, where he received his Bachelors of Science with a focus in Kinesiology (study of body movement). He's also a licensed and nationally-certified Massage Therapist with celebrity, athlete loyal clientele, and organizations—serving San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, and the Washington, DC area.

With nearly 20 years of combined experience in Fitness / Personal Training, Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy, he's been recognized for his lasting impact on the healing and self-care of others. Working with pediatric, adolescent, athletes, and geriatric patients / clients, Carlton has had the privilege to work under the guidance of Orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and Physical Therapists in hospital and outpatient settings. These opportunities have enhanced his hands-on skills related to muscle re-education for pre- and post-surgical patients and make him well-equipped to assess, treat or refer clients.

He also has a background in education teaching in the areas of Psychology, Health, and Wellness. His personable approach and vast knowledge led to founding he Well Pasadena in 2018, where he continues to heal and empower individuals throughout their wellness journey.
The Well is a family-owned business that offers appointment-only mobile massage/bodywork, couple/group massage classes, private/group event massage, corporate wellness programs, and wellness retreats with a reliable network of qualified health, fitness and wellness professionals.
​All of our services are mobile and by appointment only. The following services will be provided at the client's home/preferred location or a rented space (at client's cost): individual and couples massages, couples massage classes, group classes, private events, corporate wellness programs, and wellness retreats. The Well also hosts public, ticketed events.

We serve Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Monrovia, Arcadia, San Marino, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Rosemead, Monterey Park, La Canada-Flintridge, Covina, Duarte, Baldwin Park, Sierra Madre, Burbank, Hollywood, Glendale, Sherman Oaks, and more. We're also available for travel and can be on location throughout Virginia and California, including but not limited to Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County and Orange County.
